Biography
Over the last 25 years, Kevin has helped guide over 400 ESOPs and ESOP companies to success, from setting up new ESOPs to taking over underserved ESOPs that were ready to thrive at the next level. They represent the spectrum of publicly traded corporations and privately held companies, from professional firms and banks, to manufacturers and retailers. Kevin began his tax career as an attorney in the San Francisco office of the nation's largest public accounting firm. He is a member of and a frequent contributing speaker and author in the area of ESOPs for the National Center For Employee Ownership (NCEO) and The ESOP Association. He authored the accreditation course materials on ESOPs for the American Society Of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA), the National Institute Of Pension Administrators (NIPA) and teaches coursework on ESOPs for the California CPA (CalCPA) Educational Foundation.

Kevin is certified as a Taxation Law Specialist by the California State Bar Board Of Legal Specialization - one of only some 350 tax specialists out of over 179,000 active California lawyers. His practice focuses on all facets of ESOPs including corporate succession planning, mature ESOPs, fiduciary representation and DOL/IRS defense, as well as all aspects of related nonqualified and equity deferred compensation planning for ESOP companies.
