Chris Mellen co-authored "Valuation for M&A: Building & Measuring Private Company Value." He has also authored several published articles on valuation-related matters, led over 100 seminars, and provided expert testimony in court. He is an active member of the AITF and chairman of continuing education and instructor for the International Association of Certified Valuation Specialists (IACVS).

Prior to joining VRC, Mr. Mellen was the president and founder of Delphi Valuation Advisors for 15 years. He has also held senior-level positions in the valuation departments of two major accounting firms – CBIZ Tofias and KPMG.

Chris Mellen earned his MBA in finance from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts and a bachelor of arts degree in industrial relations and economics from McGill University in Montreal. He holds the industry designations of ASA, MCBA, CVA, ICVS, ABAR and CM&AA.
